Baby Frazier James

On September 24th, Lee and Debbie welcomed Frazier Braxton James into the world. He weighted 8lb. 8oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. He is soooo precious!!! Reed and Avery are thrilled to have a cousin, and I am so excited about being an aunt!!! We can't wait to teach him all the bad things that Lee has taught our children....payback! That will come much later, but for now we just want to hold and love on him as much as possible! We love you Baby Frazier!!!

WOW! I can't believe it's been 2 months since my last post-told ya we were going to have a busy summer! We just got back from the beach, and I have posted some of those pictures! We had a great time with Tommy's whole family! We look forward to that trip every year!

Under that you will see another new slideshow that has a ton of pictures of our adventures over the summer! Reed's graduation present from GiGi and PaPa was a trip to New Orleans to do whatever he wanted-It was his day and he was very excited! They stopped at Global Wildlife on the way and then went to the NO Zoo and Aquarium. They stayed with WaWa and Dotsy and went to the Children's Museum in Tunica along with some other fun stuff! They also rode jet skiis for the first time and went intertubing! Reed has done basketball camp, vacation Bible School, and Twin Lakes Camp. Avery had a ball at cheerleader camp as you can tell from the huge smile on her face as she is "stunting"! She thinks she is so BIG! They have enjoyed the Jackson Zoo, MS Ag Museum, Wildlife Museum, fishing and lots of Swimming! What a summer, it has flown by!

It is amazing that we will be starting school in less than 2 weeks! Reed will be a big 1st grader and Avery will start K4! I am looking forward to getting back into our normal routine!

Busy Times at the James House!

Well, the James family has been busy! First Reed had his Shine Time performance for Kindertot. This is an activity that he does after school. They work with basketballs and it teaches them coordination, mental alertness, listening and many more useful skills. He really enjoyed it!

Next, Reed started Baseball. This is just one of the MANY sports that he loves! He is going to be a good little athlete, and we love to watch him!

Next, it was Avery's turn to shine and boy did she ever (and showed her behind too)! She did great at her recital. She performed a ballet and a tap dance. I am quite certain that she loves being in the spotlight! At the end of the recital someone takes flowers to the little dancers on stage, this was Tommy and Reed's job. GiGi had made a beautiful nosegay (sp?) of roses for them to give Avery. Remember that a nosegay is a small (short stemmed) bouquet of flowers. As the spotlight was on Avery and she was crossing the stage to meet her Daddy and Reed she said loudly that she wanted "BIG FLOWERS"- those would be the ones with long stems that most of the other girls had. She started crying and would not even take the flowers from Tommy and Reed! It didn't take long to forget how cute she had just been dancing on the stage moments earlier and wanting to jerk her unthankful little 4 year old behind off of that stage! But, her WaWA promised he would go buy her a "BIG FLOWER", so she was happy after that!

Lastly, we had a wonderful celebration as Reed graduated from K5 Kindergarten! It is so hard to believe that he will be starting 1st grade next year! He looked so OLD in his cap and gown! He even got an award for Perfect Attendance (I had no clue that he had been at school everyday!) He was very proud of that though because there were only a few children who received it.

We will have a busy summer with them both taking swimming lessons, Reed doing a basketball camp, Vacation Bible School and Twin Lakes Camp and Avery wants to do a gymnastics camp. So, you may not hear from us for a while! Everyone have a wonderful summer!

Avery just had her K3 Grandparent's Day, and she was a precious little flower! We loved watching her get into her singing. She really brings out her serious side, and it is hilarious. You will see one picture where she is playing the bell. It was the sweetest thing. They actually were playing the bells to Jesus Loves Me. Their teacher was sitting in front of them flashing different colored cards and they had to ring their bell when their color came up. It was very impressive! I said Avery why didn't you tell me you were playing the bells (because I had no idea) and she said because she wanted to surprise me!!! How Sweet!

You will probably always know when my parents have been here because I will have new pictures to post. For those of you who know my Daddy, you know he is a photoholic! I am so thankful for all the wonderful pictures that he takes of Reed and Avery!

ADDICTIVE!!!

OK, this is addictive! I stayed up until 1am last night working on this blog! What was I thinking? It was so quiet though, and I had no interruptions. Unlike now-Avery is sitting in my lap drawing as I am trying to type. She is telling me that I am getting in HER way! HA!

Don't ask me why I am starting something that I have no business doing...I don't have time for this, but since all my friends now have blogs I can't be left behind...remember it is a work in progress. Please be patient!
